Pia s a gorgeous, sweet Barbados Blackbelly lamb. We are guessing that she was born in April of this year. This breed of sheep sheds their fleece naturally, so don't need shearing. Pia has her baby coat, a rich chocolate brown fleece with lighter markings. We think she'll be a medium caramel color when her adult coat comes in. Pia was never handled by people before she came to us, and is is skittish like her mom. But she is following her mom's lead, and will already take treats from my hand. She was very good for a hoof trimming. We think she's young enough to get over her fear and be a pocket sheep! As with all New Moon Farm animals, Pia has been seen by a veterinarian. She is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof trimming. Her adoption fee is $100. A home visit and adoption contract are required. Our adoption contract includes a "no breeding" clause.
