LaTaa is a very beautiful, 5 year old Barbados Blackbelly ewe. This breed of sheep sheds their fleece naturally, so don't need shearing. Her coat is a pretty golden caramel color, with darker markings. LaTaa is skittish, as she was part of a flock abandoned by their owner and seized by animal control. We don't know how long they were on their own. She has made huge progress in just a few weeks. She will now take grain from my hand, though isn't quite ready for petting yet. She will definitely need to be with other sheep. As with all New Moon Farm animals, LaTaa has been seen by a veterinarian. She is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof trimming. Her adoption fee is $100. A home visit and adoption contract are required. Our adoption contract includes a "no breeding" clause.
