AKC American Cocker Spaniel in Arlington, Washington For Sale

When you meet this puppy, you'll fall in love. He is happy all the time, obedient, has lots of stamina, comes every time he's called, knows the word "no", very much wants to be with people and loves cuddle time. He is not hyper at all and has no aggression problems. He has been exposed to other puppies, dogs, our cat, older children and small livestock on our farm. He would be perfect for an active family, perhaps with a second dog so they can keep each other company. He should weigh around 27-28 pounds when fully grown. He is a wonderful pup with a robust build and a thick, soft coat that is not prone to matting.
His sire is a health-tested chocolate and tan AKC champion who is now breeding in Canada. His champion-sired black and white parti-colored dam is a sweetheart and is on site. AKC champions on both sides means many of his ancestors were health tested and bred to the AKC standard.
Our Cockers are getting very nice compliments from visitors. We select and breed our Cocker Spaniels for normal traits using bench (show) and field types. Our goals are overall soundness and health, correct type, even temperaments, easier to manage coats and beauty/style keeping the AKC standard in mind.
When considering a male or female puppy, some people say that they prefer a neutered male puppy because they tend to be more obedient and loyal...fwiw!
(Tails and toes have been left in tact. After much research, we found that this practice is very painful to young puppies and unnecessary. This practice is illegal in many other countries, but is required by the AKC for showing dogs. We would like to encourage you to contact the AKC with your own opinion on this subject.)
First shots and regular deworming has been done. Our small kennel is properly licensed with Snohomish county.
